as you can see in the E.T. photo, a subliminal suggestion is made in the poster. The extended alien hand visually equates to the hand of God as shown in Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel painting where the hand of God reaches out to Adam below.... Even the alien hand here in Contact is extended to comfort mankind's representative.

Then lets go back to Matthew 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall decieve the very elect."
How about the modern UFO cults? How about the ones who teach that aliens are gods and that Angels are aliens, not the other way around. They teach the aliens are here to guide our "evolution" and to save us from destroying ourselves by nuclear war and environmental catastrophe. These are the teachings of FALSE PROPHETS! I believe the coming delusion or 'lie' is coming right from the UFO/New Age phenomena. Present fallen angel activity:
Satan and his fallen angels still have dominion over the earth and the planet areas. Satan is called: Lord of the High Places, Lord of those who quickly fly (in high places), Prince of the Powers of the Air, and obviously Prince of the Powers behind flying crafts in the high places. The Bible explains where Satan currently resides and connects him with forces in the atmosphere. Paul tells us "we wrestle with wicked spirits in high places", literally "in the heavens" or "in the aerial regions" (Ephesians 6:12). He is also called "the prince of the power of the air" which literally means "the prince of the aerial host". The Satanic confederation has its seat in the atmosphere heaven in the spaces above around our world.
